The liver can rebuild itself. REG3A is part of how.
REG3A, also known as HIP/PAP, is a small secreted protein the liver makes more of when it is stressed or injured. In the lab it has been associated with protecting liver cells from oxidative stress and with supporting regeneration after damage. That biology is why REG3A has drawn interest as a starting point for therapies in acute and chronic liver disease.
None of this is a claim about any one product. It is the underlying science, and it is worth understanding on its own terms, because the liver is one of the few organs that can regenerate, and the signals that drive that are a real target for medicine.
